Of the World

Nature and daily life are at the core of Jennifer’s art. Yeteven the more abstract pieces began with the intent to express a place, an object or a view of nature, and as such are “of the world.”

The artwork is presented to you in groupings, that highlight how the focal point or message has been expressed by the type of felting, and whether the work is wall hung or freestanding. Overlap exists, as all combine a range of felting, quilting and surface design techniques.

Of Shape & Line

Fabric is intriguing in and of itself, a palette of pattern, texture and color which calls out to be celebrated just for itself, showcased through line, shape and composition. In these art quilts, concept and materials are the drivers.

Storytelling

A truly unique part of Jennifer’s background is her profession as a graphic facilitator. On occasion this skill with visual metaphor makes it into fabric.

Parlour Studies

This set of small, mounted works speak to the style and sensibilities of time travelers to the 1860s, as they have been made and priced specifically for the Dickens Christmas Fair. Please go to Hammond Handspun & Wool Arts for the complete series and purchase information.
